Mrs Gayatri Patil

Mrs Gayatri Patil born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is a British citizen residing in London, UK, for over 15 years. Holding a Master's degree in Software Engineering, she works as a Senior I.T. Consultant at Sky UK.

A passionate Bharat Natyam dancer, she has showcased various traditional folk dances from Maharashtra at numerous events in London over the past decade. Her cultural involvement extends to being an active member of Maharashtra Mandal London, where she participates in and organizes cultural activities.

As the founder of the Marathi Ladies UK group, she plays a pivotal role in promoting Marathi language and festivals in the UK. She is dedicated to representing and celebrating Marathi culture in various forums, fostering a deeper appreciation for the rich heritage of Maharashtra. Her work includes organizing events that highlight the significance of Marathi language and traditions, ensuring their continuation among the diaspora community.
